Qualifications

• Qualifications accepted for HNC/Degree Level in a relevant subject.
• Knowledge of health and safety laws including CDM.
• Understanding of sub-contract processes.
• Appreciation of project management fundamentals.

• Assist with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Control, and Automation design production.
• Provide technical support for supply chain procurement activities.

Job description

Electrical Senior Design Engineer

As Electrical Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for all activities associated with the production of Electrical Design in compliance with the Business Management Systems (BMS) and CDM regulations, assisting with the wider general Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (PMEICA) and Civils design production activities, providing technical support to the supply chain procurement activities and supporting site activities as required. You will also assist with the management of Consultants and Sub-contractors design production.

About You

• Have the necessary qualifications to be accepted to undertake a qualification in a recognised relevant Subject to HNC / Degree Level.
• Gain working knowledge of aspects and law, including The Health and Safety at Work etc Act and CDM.
• Gain a basic knowledge of sub-contract processes – contract and commercial.
• Basic appreciation and use knowledge of project management – programming, cash flow analysis, resource planning etc.
• Willingness to work towards membership of relevant professional institution (IET).
