Job summary

A specialist engineering service provider is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector in Reading, England. You will perform electrical safety checks, deliver inspection reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience, with relevant certifications and SC clearance eligibility. Competitive hourly rate and long-term contract over 12 months will be offered.

Qualifications

• SC clearance eligible for UK citizens with 5 years in the UK.
• Minimum 10 years relevant Electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in nuclear, renewables, oil & gas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second party Electrical Safety checks & inspections.
• Deliver detailed inspection reports.
• Conduct risk assessments of fixed electrical installations.
• Perform emergency lighting inspection to BS 5266 standard.
• Advise on technical and legislative requirements.
