Electrical Qualifying Supervisor – Midlands (UK-wide travel)

Salary: c£50k. Company van/pickup.

Our client manages the electrical policies, procedures and infrastructure for two large student accommodation portfolios, with approximately 77,000 beds across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out fixed wire testing, board replacements, remedials as well as reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Visit site to carry out pre-start surveys, review systems, prepare reports, and audit progress with engineers.
  • Issue permits to work when remedials are required.
  • Expect 2–3 days on site and 2–3 days at home or the Birmingham office; overnight stays at property with accommodation and sustenance provided.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in all aspects of the electrical trade.
  • Qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level.
  • Preferred LVAP or HVAP registration.
  • Knowledge of delivering domestic/commercial electrical work including emergency lighting.
  • JIB Manager/Gold Card certification.
  • 18th Edition, C&G Part 1 and 2 knowledge.
