Overview
Electrical Qualified Supervisor to oversee electrical installations and ensure compliance with industry standards in the renewable energy sector. This permanent role is based out of the East Midlands or West Midlands and will involve national travel and monthly visits to London.
Responsibilities
- Attend and manage electrical installations to ensure compliance and safety with regulations and standards.
- Conduct inspections and testing to guarantee safety and operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to electricians and other team members on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, and certifications.
- Assist with installations as required.
- Produce content for and deliver training to staff.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address any technical concerns or queries.
- Ensure accurate recording and auditing of work.
- Maintain knowledge of company services and products.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement best practices accordingly.
Profile / Qualifications
- A recognised qualification and experience as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor.
- Proven experience in supervising electrical projects (commercial and domestic).
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- The ability to be self-motivated and manage their own workload effectively.
- DNO and ICPs experience.
- Have a practical approach and the ability to communicate effectively with sub-contractors.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
- A background of electrical installations within the building and construction sector.
- Full driving licence.
- The willingness to travel nationally but be based in the East Midlands or West Midlands.
Qualifications
- ECS Gold Card.
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
- AM2 Assessment.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2919 or 2921 EV qualification.
- Inspection & Testing.
