Job summary

A leading EV charge point installation company is looking for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join their team. This office-based role would also suit an electrician looking to transition away from hands-on work. Responsibilities include quoting charge point work, supervising electrical technicians, and validating NICEIC certifications using Easy Cert software. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience, including the 18th edition wiring regulations and prior experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Qualified Supervisor with experience in NICEIC certification.
• Proficiency in quoting charge point work for both domestic and commercial clients.
• Experience supervising and coordinating electrical technicians.

Responsibilities

• Quote domestic and commercial charge point work.
• Validate and sign off NICEIC certification using Easy Cert software.
• Liaise with client's representatives and work colleagues.
• Report on quality audits to the Electrical contracts manager.
• Supervise the work of electrical technicians.

Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join a leading EV charge point installation company. The electrical qualified supervisor will be an office‑based job and would also suit an electrician with an AM2 that is looking to come off the tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Quoting domestic and commercial charge point work
• To carry out duties as a Qualified Supervisor, validate and sign off NICEIC certification using Easy Cert software
• Liaise with client’s representatives and work colleagues
• Report to the Electrical contracts manager to ensure quality audits are undertaken
• Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical technicians and other team members
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Key Experience

• 18th edition wiring regulations
• NVQ3 & AM2 or meet the requirements for NICEIC
• Testing & Inspection or equivalent
• Electric Vehicle Charging (Preferred)
• Previous experience as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor required
