Job summary

Amteck is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for our new construction division. This is a traveling, project‑to‑project role with long‑term opportunities, competitive benefits, and room to move within Amteck after completion of assignments.

You will ensure compliance with construction standards, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, verify installations, and support the safety culture on site. NEC knowledge and field readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in electrical construction and QA/QC oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Strong knowledge of NEC rules and safe installation practices.
• Capable of using laptops/tablets and related software on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA/QC activities across traveling project sites.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and codes.
• Review drawings, installation instructions, and field workmanship for accuracy.
• Support safety goals and promote Amteck values on every project.

Job description

Amteck is currently looking to add QAQC Coordinator for our new construction division. This is a traveling position. We offer long‑term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K. After completion you will be able to move to another project within Amteck. We are looking for people who are interested in working with a company that promotes growth and longevity within the trade. You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.

Requirements Include But Aren't Limited To The Following

• Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
• Prefer to have at least 2 years' prior experience as QAQC in the field.
• A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred for this role.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and standards relating to electrical work.
• Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.
