QA/QC Engineer (Electrical Bias) – West London (Data Centres / Mission Critical Projects)

A leading engineering contractor delivering complex M&E projects across Europe is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team for the 12-14 months of a major data centre project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, high‑spec installations, ensuring all works meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of electrical installations to verify quality and compliance.
• Manage snagging during scheduled walkdowns, surveillances, and observations.
• Ensure installations are snag‑free ahead of client walkdowns and handovers.
• Oversee First‑of‑a‑Kind (FOAK) process sign‑offs.
• Maintain accurate document control of construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Act as QA Owner for allocated scopes through construction, testing, inspection, and handover.
• Compile and manage turnover and handover packs.
• Control installation drawings and cable schedules for your scope.
• Represent the contractor during system and area turnover walkdowns.

Requirements

• Strong background in QA/QC for electrical construction.
• Experience on data centre or large industrial projects.
• Solid commercial awareness and understanding of quality vs cost.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive and organised, with a drive to deliver snag‑free work.
