Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer for a major commercial development in Central London on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on overseeing electrical installation quality from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with drawings and ITPs.

The successful candidate will review drawings, manage NCRs, coordinate with subcontractors and site teams, and maintain QA/QC records to support a smooth project delivery in a high-profile development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Electrical QA/QC role.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections and handover documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor electrical installation works and workmanship.
• Review drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Complete inspection and test records.
• Raise and manage NCRs and quality issues through to close-out.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site management and commissioning teams.
• Monitor snagging and ensure defects are resolved.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and handover documentation.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records throughout the project.
