Job description

Overview

A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the solid appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Electrical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services electrical installation project management background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success.

Candidates sought MUST be based or commutable to Birmingham / West Midlands area.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations into new build industrial sheds for warehousing, distribution, military and manufacturing projects.
• Other work will include office blocks and data centres; focus on commercial and industrial schemes as a whole.
• Lead on project management and delivery of electrical installations and all electrical services typical of M&E / Building Services environments.
• Coordinate with main contractors and organise on-site teams, including site managers, supervisors and electrical installation engineers, while working with a Senior Project Manager.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and conduct yourself with integrity and professionalism; maintain a commercially minded approach.
• Be based or commutable to Birmingham / West Midlands area and capable of handling projects up to £20M+ depending on experience.
• Collaborate with other specialist electrical engineers to undertake elements of these installations, utilising the company’s on-site resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E / Building Services project management and delivering electrical installations and related services on commercial and industrial schemes.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering schemes of this scale; experience dealing with main contractors is advantageous.
• Ability to work with client teams and external stakeholders; strong leadership and organisation skills.
• Location: based or commutable to Birmingham / West Midlands area.
