FYBA Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical works on a Thames Water project in Swindon. The role requires being on site three days a week and a strong electrical background with project management experience.

Ideal candidates are time-served/electrically qualified with water/wastewater project experience, CDM/H&S awareness, and excellent stakeholder engagement to coordinate Thames Water, engineers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Time-served/qualified electrician with a strong electrical background.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar.
• Previous water/wastewater industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and commissioning.
• Understanding of CDM, H&S and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical project delivery from planning through to completion.
• Oversee electrical installation, commissioning and subcontractor activities.
• Manage programme, costs, resources, quality and H&S.
• Liaise with Thames Water, clients, engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered to specification, programme and relevant standards.
• Provide strong technical electrical input and resolve site issues.

Job description

We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Project Managerto lead the delivery of electrical works on a Thames Water project in Swindon.

The ideal candidate will betime-served/qualified electrically, with a strong electrical installation and technical background, combined with proven project management experience.

Previous experience working within the water/wastewater industry is essential, ideally on projects involving Thames Water or similar water utility clients.

There is a requirement to be on site 3 days per week within the role, so candidates would need to be based locally or happy to stay away from home accordingly.

Sponsorship cannot be offered, you must have full RTW in the UK to be considered.

Whilst the client preference is permanent - CONTRACT MAY BE CONSIDERED also.

Key responsibilities:
