Overview

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER - PERMANENT - BIRMINGHAM - circa £70,000 per annum

AndersElite require an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading building services contractor on a permanent basis to manage site based activities on several secured and ongoing flagship projects around Birmingham in the next 2-3 years.

Candidates should have a strong contracting background as a leading electrical manager and ideally experience of high value commercial or industrial projects.

This is a permanent position available from late 2025 or January 2026 if this suits all parties better.

Candidates should possess SMSTS and have relevant electrical trade and management accreditations such as CSCS / ECS / JIB. 1st Aid is also an advantage.

As Electrical Projects Manager you will be reporting into the overall operational lead with responsibility for all electrical elements on site.

Responsibilities
  • You must be able to have demonstrable knowledge of Contract Management or Project management roles.
  • Results driven attitude, leading site team by example to ensure project success.
  • Attend client meetings
  • General paperwork management; RFIs, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site diaries, Project programmes, Snagging Lists, general correspondence between the client, contractors and design consultancies
  • Design Review and variations
  • Managing site issues and keeping to deadlines
  • Managing site health and safety issues on site
