Job summary

A leading MEICA contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects in the water industry around the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, experience in water treatment and wastewater engineering, and strong project management skills. Responsibilities include ensuring project compliance, client liaising, and managing project risks while adhering to statutory regulations.

Qualifications

  • Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications.
  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA management role.
  • CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project program compliance and updating.
  • Manage business development and client relationships.
  • Monitor and review project commercial performance.
  • Task and ensure standards compliance.
  • Identify and report project risks and changes.
  • Liaise with designers for project design updates.

Electrical Project Manager - Water Industry

A leading MEICA contractor delivering projects in the water industry is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to deliver projects around the Bristol area.

Duties for Electrical Project Manager
  • Project program compliance and updating (with planners)
  • Business development and client liaising
  • Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues)
  • Tasking, productivity, and standards compliance
  • Project risk and change identification/reporting
  • Project design liaison, review, and updating (with designers)
  • Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Management and monitoring of approved specialist sub-contractors and wider supply chain partners
  • Co-ordination and liaison with key project stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Management of operational assets prior to client hand-over
Candidate Description
  • Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications
Requirements for Senior Project Manager
  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA management role
  • Computer literate, particularly with MS Office applications is essential
  • CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely
  • Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements
  • Hold a valid full UK driving license
  • Eligible to work in the UK
