Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role delivers electrical building services packages on a major infrastructure project, with hybrid working and a 9-day fortnight.

Nuclear sector experience is beneficial but not essential. You will coordinate engineering and project delivery, review drawings, monitor progress and costs, and ensure safety and quality standards while working with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and project delivery.
• Good organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within a major project or regulated environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical building services and installation packages.
• Coordinate engineering, construction and project delivery activities.
• Develop and manage project programmes and schedules.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and procurement.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress, costs and commercial performance.
• Ensure works meet required safety, quality and technical standards.
• Work closely with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
