About the Role

If you enjoy taking a project from concept all the way through to installation and commissioning, this is the kind of role where you’ll have real ownership and influence.

You’ll be working on large industrial machinery systems used in high-demand processing environments - the type of equipment where your engineering decisions genuinely matter. You’ll act as the go‑to electrical & controls specialist, shaping how systems are designed, integrated and delivered to customers across the UK.

What You’ll Lead On
  • Own the electrical scope of machinery projects from start to finish.
  • Review & approve schematics, panel layouts and control system designs.
  • Ensure compliance with EN60204, UKCA / CE and functional safety.
  • Work hands‑on during FAT / SAT / installation / commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical design, production, and controls partners.
  • Influence component selection, standards and future platform improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement and standardisation across product lines.
What We’re Looking For
  • Background in industrial machinery, automation, equipment or OEM build.
  • Ability to read, interpret and create electrical schematics & panel documentation.
  • Solid working knowledge of functional safety + EN60204.
