Overview

Electrical Project Engineer - North Yorkshire - Days - Manufacturing - Salary on application + quarterly bonus

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturer based in North Yorkshire.

An Electrical Project Engineer who has experience of delivering engineering projects in a manufacturing or special purpose machinery related environment will be well suited.

Responsibilities
  • Must be electrically qualifed - ideally apprentice trained and/or qualifed to HNC/HND level in an electrically biased subject
  • Be self-driven, a quick learner and someone who thrives in “making things happen”
  • Whilst it\'s not essential, knowledge of working in an FMCG environment would be highly advantageous
  • Work with Project Managers and Operations, preparing all electrical involvement for new machinery installations
  • Successful Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for full project delivery of upgrade programs replacing old or obsolete machinery and equipment with state of the art, automated manufacturing solutions - including material handling systems, robotics, packaging and processes machinery
  • An Electrical Project Engineer who is apprentice trained and moved into a Maintenance Engineer role, who has then picked up some project experience would be ideal
  • Manage Contractor & Supplier Management (CDM) requirements
  • Working week is 37.5 hours per week and the role is “Days” based
