Matchtech Group is seeking an Electrical Project/Design Engineer for the water sector. Location: Kent with occasional travel to London office. Requires electrical engineering degree and water industry experience. You will contribute from tender through to handover on digester refurbishments.

The role involves submitting equipment, selecting suppliers, reviewing deliverables, and supporting senior teams in design and project delivery.

Formación

• Electrical design experience for water/wastewater projects.
• ATEX/CompEx training or equivalent.
• Experience with digesters and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare equipment submissions and liaise with suppliers for procurement.
• Review design deliverables to meet project targets.
• Assist in producing and reviewing P&ID and GA drawings.
• Provide engineering support to senior design staff and project teams.

My Client is recruiting for an Electrical Project/Design Engineer in the Water Sector

Location: Ideally based in the Kent area with occasional travel to Office in London

Experience within the water/wastewater or similar process related industry and, ideally degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.

The Electrical Engineer will play a key part in the team and will be involved in projects within the water/wastewater industry from tender to project handover. Working on projects including Digester refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of equipment submissions
• Liaise with suppliers on product selection and procurement
• Review design deliverables to ensure projects targets are being achieved
• Assist in the production and review of P&ID and General Arrangement Drawings
• Provide Engineering support to senior design staff and project delivery teams

Qualifications and experience:

• Ideally degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
• ATEX / CompEx - training/experience
• Experience within the water/wastewater
• Electrical Design experience
• Experience with Digesters
• High attention to detail
• Safety aware
• Commercially aware
• MS Office Skills
