Job summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is seeking a Production Support Engineer (Electrical engineering) based in Kendal, UK. You will provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to production and operations, help resolve design and BOM issues, and update electrical drawings and documentation to ensure accurate, controlled changes across the site.

You will work closely with electrical design, production, quality and supply chain teams to support project delivery, ECOs, CAPAs and PCNs, while

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design, production support or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of LV Switchgear or modular power systems.
• Ability to read schematics, single-line diagrams and BOMs.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Familiarity with 2D CAD tools and PLM/PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to production/operations.
• Assist with resolution of production issues and technical queries related to electrical design and BOMs.
• Review/update electrical BOMs and ensure changes are communicated to stakeholders.
• Support sourcing/review of alternative electrical components.
• Update and support electrical drawings and documentation (schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams).
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from issue to implementation.
• Contribute to production SOPs and CAPAs where electrical input is needed.
• Support Product Change Notices (PCNs) and project delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in FAT, testing and customer witness activities as required.
