Qualifications

  • Must hold 18th Edition Qualified Electrician certification.
  • City & Guilds qualifications in Inspection & Testing required (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395).
  • Experience in PAT testing and knowledge of 3-phase systems preferred.

About The Job:

As an Electrical PAT Testing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and functionality of both in-house and customer equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment.
  • Keeping accurate records and adhering to schedules to maintain equipment readiness.
  • Ensuring compliance with company Health & Safety standards.
  • Maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including Audio, Lighting, Power Distribution, and Rigging systems.
  • Assisting in new-build equipment projects to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and testing in accordance with established systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of work conducted.
  • Collaborate with team members while also being capable of working independently.
  • Manage workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Personal Skills:
  • 18th Edition Qualified Electrician certification.
  • City & Guilds qualification in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395).
  • City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT testing.
  • Experience with Portable Appliance Testing and a strong understanding of 3-phase systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid UK driving licence and computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional requirements for overtime.
