Job description

TXM Recruit currently have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join a growing electrical business, working mainly across the Peterborough area to support with contracts across the electrical sector of the business, overseeing a team of engineers.

Salary: £55,000

Location: Peterborough

Extra: 30 minute travel time each way given then paid from there.

Duties
  • Promote and manage safe driving standards and action daily speeding report, taking relevant action where necessary in accordance with company procedures. To review company vehicle usage and upkeep.
  • Addressing areas of concern as raised by clients, identifying areas of improvement and implementing measures to address and resolve, eliminating the likelihood of the concern reoccurring.
  • To attend customer's meetings as required.
  • To Manage Electrical Projects and keep Stake Holder of progress, issues and success.
  • Manage employee absence including holidays, review, and action any high levels of absences and manage long term sick employees in line with the company policy.

Requirements
  • Must possess a recognised health and safety qualification such as SMSTS.
  • Must have a proven track record in managing engineers and site coordination.
  • City and Guilds level 2 & 3 Electrical installations.
  • Up-to-date with current standard BS7671, 18th Edition BS7671 desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence
