The role involves fitting various types of power transformers, preparing work by reviewing assembly instructions, and maintaining high workmanship standards. Candidates must have hands-on experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment and ideally be apprenticeship trained. The position offers negotiable salary and extensive benefits, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a nine-day fortnight with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering setting.
• Ability to understand mechanical and schematic drawings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fit various types of distribution and power transformers.
