Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to perform electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs on site. You will conduct preventative and reactive maintenance, improving equipment reliability and performance while adhering to health & safety standards.

The role involves working on motors, drives, gearboxes and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, using CAFM systems and mobile devices to track tasks. You may be asked to deputise for the Shift Leader and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Time-served or recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical) or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Ability to write Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits to Work.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance to improve equipment performance.
• Work on motors, drives, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Support health & safety through risk assessments, permits, and compliance docs.
• Use CAFM systems and mobile devices to manage maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with site services, clients and supervising contractors.
• Act as responsible person and deputise for Shift Leader when required.
• Overtime and weekend work as business needs require.
