Finsbury Food in Pontypool is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a rotating shift role. You will be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team that impacts plant performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to confidently troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Proactive approach and effective prioritization under pressure.
• Experience with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and root cause analysis.
• Communicate effectively with production and engineering leadership.

Skills

Strong multi-skilled engineering capability

Troubleshooting and repair equipment independently

Excellent fault-finding skills

Experience in fast-paced manufacturing

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding of Food Safety

Education

Time-served apprenticeship

SVQ, HNC, or equivalent engineering qualification
