Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd. is seeking an Electricians Mate for an 8-week project in East Kilbride (G75). You will assist electricians with cable installation and emergency lighting repairs on a commercial upgrade, working 48 hours per week at £18 per hour.

Candidates should have experience in commercial/industrial installations and hold a CSCS/ECS card plus an IPAF qualification to operate scissor lifts (3a). Some work will be at height; safety on site is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working on commercial or industrial installation work.
• Hold a valid ECS or CSCS Card.
• IPAF Qualification to operate Scissor Lifts (3a).
• Some work will be at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electricians with Cable Installation and Emergency Lighting Repairs.
• Support electrical teams on site at East Kilbride (G75).
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on site.

FULL DETAILS =

Positions Available = 1 x Electricians Mate

Start Date = Monday 2nd November 2026

Project = Commercial upgrade - Assisting Electricians with Cable Installation and Emergency Lighting Repairs.

Pay Rate & Hours = £18.00 per hour - 48 worked and paid per week. 10 hour days paid Monday to Thursday. 8 hours paid Friday.

Required Duration = 8 Weeks

Experience & Qualifications = You must have experience of working on Commercial or Industrial Installation work and hold a valid ECS or CSCS Card and an IPAF Qualification to operate Scissor Lifts (3a) as some of the work will be working at height.
