About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead and deliver retrofit projects across a range of commercial buildings. This is an office-based role, with regular coordination of site teams and subcontractors. You'll be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full project lifecycle for electrical retrofit works in commercial buildings (e.g. offices, schools, retail).
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and manage project programmes, cost control, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations, CDM regulations, and relevant H&S procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.
• Monitor progress against plans and handle project reporting and documentation.
• Conduct regular project reviews and client updates.
• Support tendering and procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical project management on commercial retrofit projects.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical installations (LV systems, lighting, containment, fire alarms, etc.).
• Experience working with main contractors or M&E subcontractors.
• Knowledge of current electrical regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel).
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and 18th Edition (BS7671) qualifications preferred. Advanced DBS.
• Driving license required.
