Job description

Branta Recruitment are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Manager to lead a team of 10 Electrical Maintenance Engineers across a busy and dynamic estate. This is a hands‑on management role, overseeing the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 10 electrical maintenance engineers.
• Plan, allocate, and coordinate daily workloads and reactive callouts.
• Oversee electrical compliance, testing schedules, and statutory maintenance.
• Manage client relationships, providing clear communication and professional updates.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to agreed standards.
• Support project works, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance, budgets, and KPIs to drive operational excellence.

About You

• Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ideally HV/LV experience).
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Knowledge of H&S and statutory compliance standards.
