Job summary

A leading UK renewable energy organisation is seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join their team at a major power facility in Scotland. The role offers a salary between £40,000 to £44,000 per year, along with benefits such as 25 days of holiday, a pension scheme, and life cover. Candidates should have experience in maintenance and technical awareness in power generation or similar fields. This position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

38 hours per week Monday - Friday

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and electrical technical awareness.
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe working practices in line with site SHE procedures.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
  • Support out-of-hours operations to maximise plant availability and output.
  • Investigate equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Produce technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
