Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Buckley, North Wales
Salary: £43,000
Job Type: Permanent
Shift: DAYS, Mon-Fri

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in North Wales. Due to continued expansion of their high-volume production facility, they now require an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a skilled engineering team.

This is a genuinely hands‑on role where your electrical expertise will directly impact production uptime and plant efficiency.

THE ROLE
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to keep equipment running at optimum performance and minimise unplanned downtime
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls across a wide range of production and packaging machinery
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults quickly and implement effective repairs
  • Support continuous improvement projects and the installation/commissioning of new equipment
YOU
  • Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a process, production or FMCG manufacturing setting
  • Strong electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification
  • Minimum HNC / HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, PLC awareness advantageous
  • Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems
Working Hours & Benefits
  • Monday Friday (day shift)
  • Paid overtime regularly available
  • Occasional weekend work when required (paid at enhanced rates)
