Job summary

Tesco Property Maintenance is seeking hardworking Maintenance Technicians to join the Property Maintenance Team. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities across Tesco stores, distribution centres and offices, coordinating with external contractors and internal teams to minimize customer disruption.

The role requires an engineering qualification, strong problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance to a high standard, log and schedule follow-ups as needed.
• Operate safely with dynamic risk assessment on each job.
• Build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.
• Monitor site performance to ensure availability and efficiency of equipment and systems.
• Create learnings documentation for major breakdowns using root cause analysis.
