Job summary

Eurocell PLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician at Clover Nook Site, Somercotes. The role focuses on electrical fault finding, maintenance of motors, drives, and control panels, and involvement in electrical upgrades and capital projects.

Qualifications

Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance, or related field.
Electrical qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Strong practical electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with industrial electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
Proactive hands-on maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems.
Maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
Support planned preventive maintenance activities.
Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently.
Work with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
Support electrical upgrades and improvement projects.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers when required.
