Job description

Join a fast-growing renewable energy innovator at the forefront of green biotechnology. This is your chance to be part of a pioneering team driving sustainable solutions through anaerobic digestion, bio-methane production, carbon capture, and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) technologies.

They are expanding the in-house Engineering team and looking for two experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support operations across two anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities near Ely, Cambridgeshire. You'll work on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern in a dynamic, hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

Reporting to the Head of Electrical, you'll collaborate closely with the Mechanical Maintenance Team to deliver high-quality repair, maintenance, and installation work. This role offers real impact, variety, and the chance to work with cutting-edge green energy systems.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out electrical repairs and preventative maintenance to high standards
  • Performing breakdown diagnostics, fault finding, and installations
  • Conducting electrical testing, inspections, and control panel modifications
  • Supporting mechanical tasks where needed due to integrated technologies
  • Logging work accurately using internal maintenance systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety best practices

  • PLC inputs/outputs, SCADA & network fault-finding

  • Computer literacy
