Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a 6-month temporary position potentially leading to permanent employment. Based in Hounslow, the ideal candidate will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance of various electrical equipment in a fast-paced environment. A qualification in electrical engineering and experience with PLCs are essential. The role includes a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Based in Hounslow – 6 Months Temp to Perm

3 Shift Pattern – 6am/2pm – 2pm/10pm and 10pm/6am

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Being amongst the world’s leading manufacturer food caterer. The business is now looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to support the internal team and to ensure downtime is to a minimum whilst maintaining standards of a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance – fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Electrical responsibilities – fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, contactors, single phase, three phase, E stops.
• Cover 3 floors.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical experience within an industrial site, can be within manufacturing, logistics and FMCG.
• Electrical engineering qualification is a must.
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
• Experience with working on Siemens PLCs including interrogating, fault finding and rectifying.
• Must be physically fit.
