Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure at a prestigious London site. You will ensure uptime, safety and reliability of complex electrical systems, including UPS and cooling, in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• City & Guilds 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing preferred.
• Experience in building services or commercial maintenance.
• Experience in critical environments or data centres desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns within SLA timeframes.
• Maintaining and repairing UPS, power distribution and cooling systems.
• Diagnosing power quality issues and carrying out testing/inspections.
• Supporting upgrade projects, installations and planned maintenance.
• Producing risk assessments, method statements and technical docs.
• Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with Facilities Management and Technical Services for site reliability and compliance.

Every day you'll play a vital role in ensuring operational resilience, reliability, and uptime for complex electrical systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns within agreed SLA timeframes


• Maintaining and repairing critical electrical infrastructure including UPS, power distribution and cooling systems


• Diagnosing power quality issues and carrying out electrical testing and inspections


• Supporting upgrade projects, installations and planned maintenance activities


• Producing risk assessments, method statements and technical documentation


• Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions


• Working closely with Facilities Management and Technical Services teams to ensure site reliability and compliance

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification

• City & Guilds 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing


• Previous experience in building services or commercial building maintenance


• Experience working within a critical environment, data centre or high-dependency facility is highly desirable


• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
