Overview

Electrical Maintenance Technician — We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a friendly and busy on-site team for a treatment plant based in Fawley, Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• To carry out planned preventative maintenance
• To perform all duties in accordance with documented work requirements, legislation and the company's policies and objectives, maintaining and improving performance in the areas of Safety, Quality and Environment
• To be responsible for ensuring that appropriate repair and maintenance requirements are identified and undertaken as necessary to maintain plant availability and improve efficiency
• Assist in detailed planning of and preparation for plant maintenance shut down periods
• Advise management of safety issues
• Carry out hazard and risk assessments for routine and defect maintenance tasks as required
• To respond to breakdown or emergency situations out of hours - this is adhoc and not a regular occurrence
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision and able to multi-task

Ideal / Desirable Experience

• Industrial electrical industry experience
• 18th Edition or NVQ3 or equivalent
• Knowledge of process controls - PLC's and inverter drives - desirable
• 415 and 3 Phase - desirable
• Hazardous area experience - desirable
• COMPEX 01 to 04 preferable but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate
• Problem solver
• Good team player
• Can do attitude

Salary and Hours

Salary - £45,000 - £48,000

Hours: Day Shift Monday to Friday

Overtime rates and call out uplifts also apply.
