Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for its Clevedon site. You will maintain and improve a wide range of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, regulated environment, performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and preventative tasks to maximise uptime.

The role includes 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm shifts, with a salary of £35,250 - £44,650 plus a 17.5% shift allowance, and benefits such as a 10% pension and

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with electrical bias in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience essential.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities in line with maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose faults and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Fault find on electrical systems including motors, drives and inverters.
• Test and inspect electrical installations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Source and organise spare parts when required.
• Work closely with production teams, engineers and external contractors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Promote safe working practices and engineering best practice at all times.
