Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kirkham

Salary: £49,400 + Pension + Overtime

Shift Pattern: Days only 12hr shifts 4 on 4 off

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the country’s leading food manufacturers. The company is a long-established British manufacturer, a market leader within its chosen field of specialism, and is looking to expand its engineering team due to increased growth in its market share.

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time‑served engineer with an electrical bias, and have fast‑moving manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. Experience with PPM systems and fault finding on PLC‑controlled automated manufacturing machinery is advantageous. The role involves working with a variety of food manufacturing machinery such as packaging machinery, wrappers, mixers, batch feeders, ovens and conveyors, offering substantial variety to broaden skills.
