Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Holborn - £46,000

Location: Holborn, London

Salary: £46,000 per annum + £100 Call Out Allowance

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 and 10:00–19:00 (rotating shifts)

On-Call: 1 in 4 (with £100 allowance per call out)

The Role

We are seeking a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a small, supportive team of two based in Holborn. You will be responsible for the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, while also assisting with basic mechanical duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively.
  • Support with general building services and light mechanical maintenance when required.
  • Work closely within a small team to ensure smooth operation of building services.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks).
Requirements
  • Fully qualified electrical engineer (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
  • Experience in building services or facilities maintenance.
  • Good problem‑solving skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
