Static Electrical Engineer - Birmingham (Annualised Hours)

£40,000 - £42,000 + overtime.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Static Electrical Engineer in Birmingham. The role is based on an annualised hours basis, offering stability with a competitive salary and significant overtime opportunities.

Compensation & Working Arrangement

• Annual Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 (paid in equal monthly installments, regardless of monthly hours worked)
• Contract: Permanent, Annualised Hours basis (Guaranteed total hours for the year, providing predictable income)
• Overtime: Significant overtime available to boost overall earnings
• Flexibility Required: Must be flexible with varying start and finish times to meet operational demands

Essential Requirements and Qualifications

• Time‑Served Experience: Proven, extensive experience as a qualified electrical engineer, demonstrating high levels of competence and independence.
• Level 3 Qualification: Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330 Level 3).
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations: Must hold current 18th Edition qualification.

Desirable Experience

• HVAP Certification: Holding a High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) certification is highly advantageous.
