Job summary

A leading engineering services provider is looking for a Mobile Building Services Engineer specializing in electrical tasks in Peterborough. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and handle repairs in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate must have recognized electrical qualifications and experience with fault finding. This role offers up to £37,000 per annum and includes a company vehicle.

Mobile Building Services Engineer - Electrical

Purpose of Job

To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs to building services within commercial & industrial buildings and factory environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
  • Identify any defects found to Line Manager and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
  • Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
  • To undertake minor installation works.
  • Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.
  • Maintain the professional image of the Leeton Group of companies
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all Leetons employees and clients' representatives
Person Specification
  • Education: A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
  • Recognised technical qualifications.
Training
  • Recognised electrical qualifications including AM2, (essential)
  • City & Guilds 18th edition (essential)
  • Knowledge of other building services an advantage.
Experience
  • (Essential) Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes,
  • Fault finding and repair of building services.
  • Knowledge of lone working requirements,
  • Risk Assessment trained.
  • Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to make sound decisions when needed.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work at height.
  • A team player.
Circumstances
  • Must be available to join a call out rota.
  • Driving licence is essential.
Terms

Salary up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience.

Work 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.

22 days paid holidays.

A company vehicle will be provided.
