Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Finsbury Square, Central London

Salary: Up to £47,000 + Excellent Benefits + Overtime

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 / 10:00–19:00 (Rotating Shifts)

Call Out: 1 in 4 rota

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – Finsbury Square. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a reputable and established facilities management provider on a prestigious blue‑chip commercial site in Finsbury Square. CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a team of four engineers delivering high‑quality building services maintenance in a corporate, client‑facing environment.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in electrical building maintenance, ideally with additional mechanical/fabric skills. This role offers long‑term development, ongoing training, and the chance to progress within a growing FM company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on all M&E systems
• Lighting systems (installation, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes)
• Emergency lighting tests and compliance
• BMS monitoring and environmental control support
• Control panels, motors, pumps, and pressurisation units
• Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets)
• Keep compliance logbooks fully updated
• Escort and liaise with specialist contractors
• Proactively identify and resolve building service faults
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a client‑focused approach

Candidate Requirements

• Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
• Must be able to provide proof of trade qualifications
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multi‑skilled across basic mechanical and fabric works
• Confident, client‑facing, and well‑presented
• Proactive with excellent fault‑finding abilities
• Strong understanding of H&S and statutory compliance
• Flexible for 1–in‑4 callout rota
