Branta Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a high-end Facilities Management provider delivering premium hard services across a portfolio of commercial and education properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with proven commercial maintenance experience who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing high-quality, responsive electrical maintenance across client properties, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault-finding, minor installation work, and compliance checks. Travel will be required across the region — from Leeds in the South to Glasgow in the North.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial and educational buildings
• Complete fault-finding, testing, inspection, and repairs
• Support minor installation, upgrade, and remedial works
• Ensure compliance with statutory and H&S standards
• Work closely with site staff, FM teams, and building users to deliver a high-quality service
• Optional call-out rota and overtime available for increased earnings

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / AM2 / 18th Edition)
• Experience working in commercial maintenance environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable travelling across a defined region (North East to Glasgow/Leeds)
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
• Full UK driving licence
