Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Monday – Friday, with 1 in every 3 weekends on rotation

About the Role
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our client’s maintenance team and play a key role in keeping their production operation running smoothly.

In this hands-on role, you’ll provide day-to-day electrical maintenance support across machinery, services, and facilities, ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum. You’ll also work on exciting projects from installation through to commissioning, while supporting continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
  • Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong skills in electrical/electronic fault-finding and diagnostics.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with LV and/or HV systems would be an advantage.
What You’ll Do
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and faults to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, logging all work in our maintenance systems.
  • Lead and support project work – from planning through to commissioning.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues, contractors, and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Perform PAT testing, energy monitoring, and workplace risk assessments.
  • Contribute to waste reduction, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
