Job description

Questech Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 or advanced apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
• Further qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (18th Edition)
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and operation of all factory machines
• Good practical mechanical skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision
• Commitment to product, quality and safety
• Be positive, flexible and hard-working.

The Role:

• Providing day to day maintenance support to ensure all plant and machinery are maintained to a high standard, to enable the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing operation.
• Ensure safe working practices are always observed to minimise risks to personnel with production areas
• Ensure that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance are completed for all major items of plant equipment
• Ensure that all documentation required for quality, health and safety and environment is completed satisfactorily
• Awareness and adherence to the Company's, Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures

This role is working a continental shift pattern - 4 on 4off - 12 hours Days & Nights

The salary will be between £46,500pa - £47,500pa.
