Job summary

Advanced Engineering is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for Coalville. The role covers maintaining all site manufacturing equipment, including conveyors and PLC controls, within a fast-paced production environment. Immediate start for a temporary 2‑month assignment.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice-trained in electrical disciplines and comfortable working Panama shifts on a 12‑hour day/night pattern to support continuous operations.

• Apprentice trained in electrical maintenance.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all site manufacturing machinery including conveyors, PLC controls, rollers, cutting machines, steam machines, glue machines and folding machines.

Role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Hourly rate - £38 per hour (outside IR35)

Duration - 2 months

Shift Pattern - Panama Shifts (12 hours days and nights - 3's & 2's)

Location - Coalville

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who is familiar working within a fast paced manufacturing environment and within a commutable distance of Coalville? You will be responsible for all the sites manufacturing machinery which includes conveyors, PLC controls, rollers, cutting machines, steam machines, glue machines folding machines and more. Whilst you are not expected to have knowledge on all these machines, an all round strong engineering background would be needed.
