Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Stratford, London

Salary: £47,500 – £51,000 + excellent benefits

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) – 12‑hour shifts

Role

As a key member of the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Fault‑finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systems
• Planned preventative maintenance across conveyors, mixers, coolers, boilers, and control panels
• Working with PLCs (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
• Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer within a factory or FMCG setting
• Electrical bias with mechanical aptitude
• Strong fault‑finding skills, particularly with PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens)
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment
