Salary: £46,000 – £48,000 per year

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Call Out: 1 in 6 rotation

About the role

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial office building in Barnet, North London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to high standards within a team of 6, to ensure the smooth safety of all electrical systems and building services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
  • Support building services operations including lighting, power, and emergency systems
  • Participate in a 1‑in‑6 rotation (call‑outs)
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Good understanding of general HVAC and mechanical systems (desirable)
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach
  • Work collaboratively with the wider facilities team to maintain a high‑quality service environment
