  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across production equipment.
  • Fault-find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Build control panels.

Our client is a leading food manufacturer that produces high quality products.

This position would suit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience, ideally from a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) background. It's ideal for someone proactive and analytical who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and taking pride in delivering solutions that support operational excellence.

Salary

  • Salary £42,436
  • Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am,) Saturday hours are 6am-2pm- No Saturday night working, then back in on Sunday shift at 6am)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across production equipment.
