Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Maintenance Craftsperson (electrical) at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London. This full-time, permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with flexible working and a salary of £34,186 – £37,389 per annum inclusive of HCAS.

You will undertake maintenance, repairs and capital work across the Trust, calibrate and fault-find electrical plant, perform PSP tests, and follow Wiring Regulations BS7671.

Qualifications

• Recognised & registered electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.
• City & Guilds Inspection and Testing.
• Experience in hospital maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair a range of electrical equipment.
• Use building management system software for fault diagnosis.
• Undertake fault finding on LV networks and critical systems.
• Carry out planned maintenance inspections and commissioning tests.
• Complete report sheets and certificates as required.
• Follow Wiring Regulations BS7671 and ensure safety compliance.
