Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking an Electrical Lead for the Life Science team in Macclesfield. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical systems, including critical power and life safety systems, along with proven leadership experience on large-scale Pharmaceutical projects.

This role requires overseeing the delivery of electrical systems, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, critical power systems and life safety systems.
• Proven leadership experience on large-scale Pharmaceutical construction or engineering projects.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex workloads.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of delivery.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements for electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical team and oversee delivery of all electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical works meet programme, cost and quality objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement strategies for electrical execution and planning.
• Review and approve electrical design documents and technical submittals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across all electrical works.
• Act as the primary point of contact for electrical scope with clients.
