Job summary

Stanmore College is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 1–3 and contribute to T Level provision. The role is permanent and full-time, with a focus on practical skills and industry relevance.

You will bring strong electrical installation knowledge, engage learners, assess work, and help students progress to further study or employment. The College offers a modern campus and opportunities to develop new curriculum initiatives and links with

Qualifications

Experience teaching or training preferred; industry candidates considered.
Strong knowledge of Electrical Installation and current industry practices.
Ability to deliver Electrical Installation across Levels 1–3 and contribute to T Level provision.
Applicants with PGCE, Cert Ed or DIT welcomed; College can support teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

Teach Electrical Installation across Levels 1–3, with potential to contribute to T Level provision.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons and practical activities connecting theory with industry practice.
Assess learners' work, provide feedback and monitor progress.
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources.
