A leading college in the stunning Lake District is expanding its Electrical team and is now recruiting for two positions: Electrical Installation Lecturer and Electrical Installation Assessor/Lecturer. Key Responsibilities (depending on role)

• Electrical Installation Lecturer: Deliver engaging and industry-relevant classroom sessions in electrical installation.
• Electrical Installation Assessor/Lecturer: Carry out workplace assessments, portfolio reviews, and competency evaluations.
• Plan and prepare lesson materials, schemes of work, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to learners across all levels.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivational learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and awarding bodies.

Requirements (both roles)

• Experience in the electrical industry or experience teaching/assessing electrical installation.
• Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., Level 3 Electrical Installation, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Teaching or Assessor qualifications desirable, but willingness to work toward them is welcomed.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for developing learners and maintaining high educational standards.
